CNN to host MSNBC-hosted data analysis event with MSNBC data analyst
The network announced Wednesday that it will host an event with data analysis and data analysis resume guru Mark Zukin to explore how data can be used to uncover trends and understand how organizations use data to achieve their goals.
Zukins original research in the fields of data analytics and predictive analytics has been credited with catalyzing the recent rise in data-driven innovation in the enterprise, as well as helping startups with data-related marketing campaigns.
Zukins new role on the network is to serve as a “data analyst” and “data engineer” for the network, and will work with Zukens research on trends in consumer data, as part of a series of new programming, said a statement from the network.
The network will air the event on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Eastern on MSNBC.
The panelists will include: Mark Zukinn , data analytics consultant, founder of Zukinos data analytics consulting company; Zimberley A. Johnson , founder of data analysis startup DataCoder, and a research fellow at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI); Marianne B. Burch, CEO and co-founder of The Data Analytics Institute at AEI; and Eric Lassiter, founder and CEO of Ziskin.
The data analysts will join Zukini on the panel for the event, and there will be a panel discussion following the event.
Zuks co-hosts will include Matt Lauer, Michael Che, Michael Steele, Chris Wallace, Brooke Baldwin, and Mark McKinnon.
Zukinn is also the co-creator of the podcast Data Nation, which is a weekly podcast exploring the intersection of technology, politics, and business.
In a 2015 piece for Bloomberg Businessweek, Zukinis research focused on “The Future of Data,” and it was cited as one of the key pieces that helped him transform his career and make his fortune.
